  • Brown v. Board of Education

    Brown v. Board of Education
    The ending of having the school district to be segregation base on the child's skin color not the child with special need. This was a turning point for qual right for child with special as according to the textbook (Bouck,2020) it said "used as a precedent for argument that children with disabilities cannot be excluded" (pg.40). Meaning that, the child with special need should get the same equal right as well.
  • PARC v. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

    PARC v. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
    A civil law suit that have happen when the commonwealth of Pennsylvania denied the child with special need for extra help from the school system. This action lead to begin allowing the child with special need to gain support from the school as according to the textbook (Bouck,2020) it said "to engage in extensive efforts to locate and serve" (pg.40). Meaning that, allow the children with special need to have the right of having support need from the school system.
  • Mills v. Board of Education

    Mills v. Board of Education
    A civil law suit that happen when one child with special need was denied to be included in the school system. This was a start to demending equal equalities for the child with special need as according to the article (lodge, 1998) it said "the right to a heating with representation" (pg.1). Meaning that, gaining the right to be included in school.
  • Section 504 of Rehabilitation act

    Section 504 of Rehabilitation act
    This act became an important law for all children with special need as to require the school district provide resource and access for the child's need. Every school must required to have all access for the child with special need as according to the article (DeBettencourt,2002) it said "school must provide these students with reasonable accommodations" (pg.16). Meaning that, the child with special need must have extra help from the public school district.
  • Public Law 94-142

    Public Law 94-142
    This law become the (Bouck,2020) "the Bill of Right" for the children with special need and their family to give right to what decision when it come to education. Meaning that, to insure that the rights are kept and safe.
  • ADA

    ADA
    This act is used to ban any types of discrimination toward a child with special needs in the school system. It will allow the child with special need to feel welcome and accepting as according to the textbook (Bouck, 2020) it said "welcome into the mainstream of life all people" (pg.51). Meaning that, there should be no discrimination toward the child with special need in the school system.
  • IDEA Reauthorization

    IDEA Reauthorization
    This act is used to continued letting both the family and the child with special needs to have enough provider from the school system. It can help the child and the family to keep and seek right of the benefit as according to the article (Fuchs, 2017) it said "we recommend that school rely on combination of approaches with a standard" (pg. 16). Meaning that, the school should continued to help the child with special need and their families.
  • No Child Left Behind Act

    No Child Left Behind Act
    This act is used to see if the school itself is providing much access and assistant with the child with special need that included reading, math and science included the update of IDEA standard. To ensure that the school is helping the child's learning progress as according to the textbook (Bouck, 2020) it said "special education and general education into a unified delivery system responsible" (pg. 46). Meaning that, it the law for all educator to keep on track and help the child.
  • IDEA 2004

    IDEA 2004
    This act is used to provide more improvement of providers and IDEA's standard for the child with special need. This will help to keep update on our provider and IDEA for the child with special needs as according to the textbook (Bouck, 2020) it said "to improving the educational performance of students with disability and aligning special education services" (pg. 47). Meaning that, the improve of provider and IDEA is the most important for the child with special need.
  • ADAA

    ADAA
    This act is used to allow the school district to expland more inclusions with children with special needs. This can help the family to seek help for their child's education as according to the textbook (book, 2020) it said "to expand the number and rage of student eligible under section 504" (pg. 52). Meaning that, all the children with special needs should be included in the classroom.
