Christopher Columbus
Christopher Columbus was considered one of the best explorers of his age he was the main explorer credited for finding america. He made about 4 to 5 trips across the ocean tring to find a way to india to trade spices. The waves at sea and indian tore his group apart hurricanes destroyed ships and members of the expedition were taken by the indians for slavery.

Amerigo Vespucci was a navigator under command from Alonso de Ojeda. They were sailing for spain but discovered the mouth of the Amozon and Orinoco Rivers in South America they figured that they were in Aisa. The second trip he made to portugal he mapped the eastern coast of south america knowing now that it wasnt aisa but he called The New Wolrd.
