Alexey Leonov was a Soviet/Russian commander. He was the first man to walk in space. This walk in space was supposed to be held on the Vostok 11 but it was cancled. Instead it happened on Voskhod 2. He was out of the space craft for 12 minutes and 9 seconds. -
Americas first space walk
On the Gemini 4 capsule was the first American man to float outside the space craft. Ed White had only spent three minutes in space when the fuel ran out and he had to go back inside the capsule. -
Luna 10 orbits the moon
Luna 10 was launched to the moon on March 31, 1966 from the Soviet Union. It was planned that Luna 10 would orbit the moon. On April 4, 1966 Luna 10 had compleated the first orbit around the mooon. -
Man landing on the moon
On July, 1969, Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong were the first men to land on the moon. They were passangers from the American Apollo 11. The space craft spend 21 hours and 31 minutes on the moon. -

Appolo 13 was planned to land on the mood. The space craft was launched successfully toward the moon, but before landing the oxygen tank exploded. This caused for the ship the landing on the mood. -

Mariner 9 helped out NASA on the exploration of Mars. America Launched it on May 30, 1971 and reached mars on November 13, 1971. This became the first space craft to orbit another planet. -
