Luna15 Loses Control
The U.S.S.R launched Luna15 to the moon. While trying to land it next to the the U.S.'s Apollo11 rocket Lu;na 15 crashed into the surface of the moon. Afterwards the U.S.S.R never tried aspace launch again. The Space Race was over.
