The USSR did not feed its citizrens and many died of starvation or cold, they were not as funded as before. -

The USSR puts missles in Cuba to threaten the US while the US had missles in Turkey aimed at the USSR. -
Leonid Brezhnev takes over
He was a relaist and had a dream for a better USSR but died before he could implment it. -
Mikhail Gorbachev beomes president
Gorbachev was the most reasonable leader and even made the USSR a democracy and tore dow the Berlin wall.
