Negative effects of Globalization
The negative effects of globalization starts when people are left behind. The jobs where people work are in bad condition and that makes them react in a different way. -
IMF (International Monetary Fund)
It initiated in Bretton Woods in 1944, but formally created in 1945. 29 countries were part of it in with the objective to balance the economy around the world. Industrialized countries were the countries that are giving financial support for the ones that need the money. But they need to payback. -
WB (World Bank)
It was created in 1944 and their Objective is to provide money to countries in need to rise their economy. Its also similar to the IMF. -
Brazil (President)
Since the 20t century Brazil’s economy was almost based on coffee. Brazilian industry got a boost in the 1950s under president Juscelino Kubitschek. President Juscelino Kubitschek promised 50 years of progress. -
Brazil, Strongest on South America?
With automobiles, ships, and steel make up more than half of Brazil’s exports. Brazil also exports farm products, such as bananas,oranges,beef,coffee, and cacao-the beans used to make cocoa. But they still face a problem, overcrowding the current government is trying to solve this problem by providing well-built, affordable housing. -
OECD (Organization For Economic Co-Operation and Development)
Is an International economic organization of 34 countries founded in 1961. Is the form that countries committed democracy and the market economy. They seek solutions for common problems and identify good practices and coordinate domestic. -
Neoliberalism
The origin of this act was on the industrial revolution. Its like a form of liberalism. Where the objective is to create free trades and open markets. -
Venezuela
Venezuela is located in the Northwestern South America. A series of militaries dictators had control of Venezuela like, Juan Vicente Gomez (1908 until 1935), Hugo Chávez (1999 until 2013), and much more. In the 1970s the government of Venezuela nationalized the oil industry. Oil soon became the most important part of the country’s economy. -
Chile
Chile has been through many political changes especially on 1970 when they elected Salvador Allende as president.
He change the economy from free enterprise to socialist.
He also help by giving people a word, so they could control their companies as they wished to. -
Economy Fells
Then their main exportation copper fell, so this made the economy also fell. -
New President
They change president for General Augusto on 1973. He made a big change when he became dictator, got rid of other political parties, and sold industries. -
10 Years Later
After 10 years the economy had improved, but still many people had trouble finding work and Chile dependent more of copper than ever. -
Chile Better Than Ever
In the 1980s people were tired of Augusto, so in March 1989 they remove him through free elections. Then the new government aloud to invest on Chile. The country is now learning to produce more of its own food, and today they are the largest exporter and producer of copper. -
Venezuela
In the early 1990s the economy improved. Unfortunately, as long as Venezuela depends on a single product, it’s economy will slide up and down. -
WTO (World Trade Organization)
The World Trade Organization (WTO) founded on 1995, is the only global international organization dealing with the rules of trade between nations. The goal is to help producers of goods and services, exporters, and importers conduct their business. -
Argentina (economy)
Argentina’s economy was based on exporting and agriculture. Argentina has a lot of natural resources, one quarter of argentina’s exports are based on agriculture, their mainly exports are soybeans,wheat and maize. -

The main industry in Argentina is agriculture and crops that provide lots of the country food needs. The service industry is also a major component of the Argentine economy providing 64 percent of GDP (Greatest Domestic Product) in 1999. The Falklands War started with the United Kingdom and they still are in conflict. -

Argentinas president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, has changed many things in respect to the economy, she closed all the imports and exports from argentina supposedly to improve Argentine economy but many people are not in favor of what she is doing. -

Is a company that does business in more than one country and does not consider any particular country its national home. Some examples are Nike, KFC, McDonalds, Ford, H&M, Ikea, Sony, BMW, Apple, Starbucks, Nokia, and more. -
Massive Dinosaur Fossils found in Argentina (Current Event)
On may 19, 2014, the great discovery was made by the "Mueso Paleontologico Egidio Feruglio". Its about 40 meters long and weight over 80,000kg. On 2011 scientist went to explore 260km from the city of Trelew, and found 200 fossils. Then on 2014 they found this one and they say that both dinosaurs could have died together. It could be a Titanosaur. -
31 children killed after bus catches fire (Current Event)
On may 20, 2014 at Colombia, at least 31 children were killed. When a bus was picking them up from an event at a church in Fundacion Colombia. Authorities are still investigating the caused of the fire. But a witness say that the driver went to get a drink and left the children to put gasoline. -
