Without the western influence in South Africa, the economy is booming and South Africa starts sending money as aid to the European and United States governments, the Depression ends closed to as soon as it starts and World War II is averted. -
The Meeting For a Universal Nation
South Africa calls together a meeting of all the leaders of the world to discus a plan of uniting all nations to from the Universal Nation, that will help govern the world. South Africa's current President at the time Nelson Mandela (who was born in 1918) remembered the time of the Great War, and decided it need never happen again. Even with the racial barriers, they are able to come to a decison about the Universal Nation. (pretty much the same as the United Nations) -
Nelson Madela is Assassinated
Riot breaks out in South Africa, when President Nelson Mandela is shot, in a parade to celebrate 50 years of democracy. The vice president, Gregory Smith, is quickly sworn in as president of South Africa. -
South Africa creates a Cap
The South African Government decides to put a cap on how many immigrants cross the borders to reduce the rapid immigration of foriegn peoples to the super power of South Africa. -
Last Forest Threatened
The last remaining forest in South Africa is threatened to be cut down to make room for the expanding cities within the provinces of South Africa. The enviornmentalist of South Africa become angry and have violent riots until the Government makes the giant hunk of forest a National park, that can never be destroyed. -

Diamonds are found in the Griqualand West, with the advancement of South Africa and the Treaties it has with other countries, no other nation except South Africa can harvest them. South Africa becomes the richest country in the world. -
Oil and gold is discoverd
While mining for Diamonds, a worker finds traces of gold. This leads to the discovery of a gold mine. While the south africans dig deeper into the ground they break through a cave wall, and on the othe rside is a giant pocket of oil. The pocket floods the gold mine killing over 900 people. The people of South Africa abandon gold mining and establish thousands of oil wells, becoming still the richest countries in the world -
South Africa is #1
With the discovery of the most expensive natrual resources, South Africa becomes the richest country in the world, with the best schools and healthcare, and are on the leading edge of technolody. They are the leading exporter in the world, but do not import a lot of goods. Their land is fertile and they can make any thing they need on their own.
