On June 18th, 2002, my mother gave birth to her first child. It was the start of my life. -
Positive and Negative- A New Place
In Feburary 2003, my family moved from our first house to our current home on Rockmont Circle. -
Positive- Moving Around
In April 2003, I took my first steps. -
Positive- A sister?
On October 14th, 2005, my little sister Kate was born. -
Positive- My First Day of School
In August of 2015, I started my first year of real school. I was in Mrs. Schaff's class at Heron Elementary School. I met some friends, but none of them were lifelong best friends. -
Positive- A New Friend
In the first grade, my best friend since birth, Camille, was absent. A girl named Kayla was in a similar situation, her best friend was absent too. We were both lonely and ended up hanging out. We became good friends and we still are. -
Negative- Goodbye
When 2nd grade ended, my best friend Camille's parents got divorced. Her father got custody and he moved to Rocklin. It was good-bye for a while. We meet up every now and then, but not very often. -
Negative- Ouch
In the 3rd grade, I had a mishap with the monkey bars. I fell off and broke my arm. I had to get a cast and honestly, it was awful. It was ichy and boring. I eventually got it off and it was back to normal. -
Negative- A New School
In 4th grade, my parents thought that sending me to Westlake Charter was a good choice for me. I had to leave my school, friends, and teachers. I really dislked the school and didn't keep any of the friends I made there. I remember meeting Summer, but not being close friends with her. In the 5th grade, I went back to Heron, with my old friends. -
Positive- A New Sport
In the end of the 4th grade, I signed up for a beginner volleyball season, USYVL. It was the beginning of a new hobby. I met one of my best friends, Claudia, there. -
Negative- R.I.P
In the summer between 5th an 6th grade, my family's dog, Oliver, was diagnosed with cancer. It had gotten to bad to cure and we had to put him down. I have vivid memories of our last goodbyes, his bandage and dog IV, his unknowing of his death, petting him while crying, saying goodbye. It was a devastating time. -
Positive- Another New School
I started middle school at Leading Edge during the 2013-2014 school year. It was the best thing that ever happened to me. I made tons of new friends, played volleyball, and got a good education. -
Positive- Five Starz
I got serious about volleyball in the 6th grade. Summer, Evyn, Claudia, and I all tried out for the same club team, FIve Starz 12s. We all made the team and got to play a year of club volleyball, getting better and better. -
Positive- A New School Year
In 2014, I started 7th grade at Leading Edge. It was the first time I had to change all of my classes. So far, it is a great year. -
Positive- Five Starz Again
In November of 2014, I officially made the FIve Starz 13-1 team. It has been a great season. I have new friends and I have gotten much better at volleyball.
