FDR signs an order for Japanese interment after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Due to the extreme distrust of any Asian during WW2.

Vicki Draves and Sammy Lee are the first Asian Americans to win an Olympic Gold Medal.

Vicki Draves was an Olympic Diver and Sammy Lee was also an Olympic diver. This is significant due to them being the world's first Asian Americans to bring home gold medals and it one of the many marks of the rise of Asian Americans in sports

Dalip Singh in Congress
