Birth and toddler family
As a baby my mom would hold me close to her so I could mimick her heart beat and breathing pattern. They also taught me basic things like words and colors. I remember watching shows like arthur and blues clues with my sister. -
Toddler and school age
When I was this age my family started teaching me morals and values. Some of these values and morals were God, not lying, behaving, and having a good attitude. They way they did this why by taking me to church, punishing my when i did something wrong, and making me watch educational t.v. shows. -

When I was little the mass media effected me greatly. Ways it effected me was when I watched t.v. shows I would copy or do things I saw in the shows. One of the shows I watched when I was little was veggie tales. After watching that show i would start to repeat lines and sing the songs in it. -

When I was this age I went to pre school. At pre schol they taught me how to responsible and kind. Ways they taught me to be responsible were by teaching me to pick up messes that I made or put things away that I was using. Ways they taught me to be kind were by telling me to treat others they way you want to be treated. -
Toddler to School -Family
During this time my family taught me the importance of religion and being responsible for my own space. How they did this was making us go to church each week and on holidays. I can rememeber not wanting to go and thinking why is this important. I also was expected to keep my room clean and my toys put aways. If I did not do this then they would take all of my toys away. This is still influencing me today because I have a storng relationship with God and am neat. -

I went to Preschool at Little Learners. They taught me the importance of keeping our space clean and being independent. We were expected to put our toys back in their bins each day and getting our blankets out for nap time. It is important to learn to be indpendent because you can't rely on people your whole life. -

During this time my peers taught me how to stick up for myself. I remember being picked on at Preschool. This forced me to learn to defend myself so that they would not pick on me. It is an important lesson to learn even today because if I don't stick up for myself others will take advantage of you. -

Clifford the Big Red dog was influential to me during this time. He taught me that even if we are different we all have value. Clifford because of his size could have been left out and people could have picked on him. This did not happen, he was loved. I learned that everyone can be loved. -
elementry school peers
When I was in elementry school my peers influenced me greatly. I remember learing new words and actions. This also taught me right from wrong. Because when i came home and did something bad i got in trouble and didnt do it again. -

During this time my family taught me the importance of overcoming failures. They taught me never to give up. One memory is when I was learning to ride a bike without training wheels. I would keep falling and wanted to give up. My parents encouraged me to keep trying telling me that it would get easier each day. Eventually I was successful in learning how to ride a bike. This lesson is important to me today so that I continue to learn from my mistakes and get better. -

When I was in elementry school I started to watch a lot more t.v. Some of the shows such as spongebob were entertaining and educational. Some of theses t.v. shows taught me to do things such as tie my shoes. -
elementry school - schools
In elementry school they taught me to be independent and responsible. The way they taught me this was by forcing us to write in our agenda each day and take our blue folder home each day. If we did not do this then we were punished by making us stay in for recess. I learned quickly that I did not want to give up my recess time so I remembered each night to have my agenda signed. This is still important for me today so that I continue to get things done on time and get good grades in school. -
middle school - school
Middle school taught me several things such as taking responsiblility for my actions. They taught me this by if i didnt get to class on time or didnt turn in homework i got a detention. This is important today because if you get a job and show up late your gonna get fired.
