South Korean girl group, Girls' Generation, (also known as: 소녀시대; So Nyuh Shi Dae; SNSD), debuted in 2007. They debuted with the song, 'Into The New World'. And the members of the girl group are Taeyeon, Tiffany, Sunny, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, and Seohyun. With only one former member, Jessica Jung. The song and them only caught a little attention from the media. So mainly their debut wasn't really successful.

2012 was a VERY busy year for the group. They didn't have a new song come out that year because of their busy schedules. They performed on American and French television shows, got invited to fashion shows in London and Hong Kong, they topped the billboard charts, and they all had solo activities. They also released their 2nd Japanese Single Album.

Hearing upon this news, many fans were heartbroken. But Jessica was able to pursue her fashion career which ended her to opening "BLANC and ECLARE."

Finally, it's 2017. The girls celebrated their 10th Anniversary and finally had a comeback after 2 years. They are the first K-pop girl group to ever stay together for 10 years; they also wish to stay together forever and longer. And I, too wish they do. They celebrated their 10th Anniversary with each other and with their fans at a fan meet.

Former Girls' Generation member, Jessica, also released a new song after Girls' Generation. Her song is named, "Summer Storm." Many fans speculated that the song may have some connection to the girls. Speculating that the song was more for the leader, Taeyeon. But we may never know again. Both songs are very good and I really recommend checking them out.

The moment had come. The moment where Girls' Generation members decide if they want to stay with SM Entertainment. 3 members: Tiffany, Sooyoung, and Seohyun had decided to leave the entertainment to pursue their own dreams. This news was a huge shock for SONEs and non-fans. After a few days, SM released a statement saying that Girls' Generation will not and doesn't have any plans of disbanding soon and the three girls are still in Girls' Generation. That news was a sign of relief.
