    I opened a bank account so that I will have a place to put my money. I have a savings and checking account, along with a debit/credit card with Cefcu.

    I began working on August 10th at Hallmark Home in Pekin, IL

    I opened a savings at Minier Community Bank jsut in case I need extra money for an emergency.
  • First Paycheck

    Received first paycheck. I took $91 out of my total pay to put into my savings account. I will continue this pattern of saving for 1 year

    My second pay check will be lower in pay but I will continue putting away the same amount- $90
  • Reaching my goal

    Close to 6 months later I will look into both of my savings account to see if I am saving the amount that I want. By half way the total should be near $1,080
  • 1-year goal

    By the end of the one year I should have $2,160 saved up. I plan to use the save money to fix up my vehicle that needs lots of work done to it.
