Smart Goal
S - Get my Masters of Social Work at St. Ambrose University
M - Recieve my masters degree
A - St. Ambrose offers a dual master's program in which students enrolled to get their bachelors can be getting their master's degree at the same time
R - I can get my MSW because I am a good student and I am willing to work hard when it comes to my academics
T - I want to have my MSW by 2021. -
Step 1
Attend St. Ambrose University in the fall of 2016 where I will be taking Sociology classes in order to get my bachelors degree. -
Step 2
Take classes that will provide dual credits for my bachelors and masters degree. This will cut down time to make sure I achieve my goal in not spending more than 5 years in college. -
Step 3
Meet frequently with my advisors to make sure I am on track for my dual masters degree. Ensure that I am taking the right classes and setting myself up to be successful. -
Step 4
Surround myself with positive people who have similar goals and desires that I do. These people will push me to be successful and will influence me in a positive way to maintain my schoolwork and continue striving for the best outcome possible. -
Step 5
Recieve my Sociology degree from St. Ambrose. This will allow me to focus on finishing up any remaining credits necessary to get my masters degree. Once I have gotten my 4 year degree, I can head into the workforce and have the ability to move up since I am working on my additional schooling.
