    Triangle Trade

    Great Britain was established as the leader of the slave trade by John Hawkins. This made English traders very rich.
    The trade was carried out like this:
    Slaves were sent from Africa to America. They were exchanged for sugar, tobacco and cotton which were sent to Europe. From Europe they sent textiles and manufactured goods which were sent to Africa in exchange of slaves.
