    In 1250 the skeens were found in Aberdeenshire holding a family seat. A family seat was the principle manor of a medival lord wich was normally an elegant country mansion. In the area of the mansion the family usually the family had politcal ties. ourfamily were all free barons and had two castles in scotland. we were thought to be an exceptionally early sept of Clan Donnachaidh, from before it adopted the name Robertson.
