The book "Speak" by Laurie Halse Anderson, About a teenage girl, Melinda, who has been sexaully assualted. In my opinion, that book was way too provocative for freshmen in high school to read.

"Animal Farm" by George Orwell was a very complex book to read and comprehend, but memorable for me because it peeked my interest. It reflected events of the Russian Revolution in 1917. I loved how they used animals on a farm to explain the events.

I LOVED "The Great Gatsby" book by F. Scott Fitzgerald!!! I remember not being able to put the book down.

"The Kite Runner" book by Khaled Hosseini was depressing to read. It was very sad, but also got me to think outside the box when it came to father figures and son relationships.

I work in a nursery with a variety ages of children. At work I run a program called "Story Time" where I read and incorperate a activity and game to go along with the book I choose. I do it every week and have to come up with new ideas.

My job, at the nursery, has award ceremonies for their employees. I was awarded with a certificate for reporting child abuse. It was very sad when it happened, but at least I know that the children are safe now.
