  • Seven Years War

    Seven Years War
    The Seven Years War was part of the French and Indian War. British won but ended up losing a lot of money. After the war British started to pay attention to the colonist and started to tax their food and other materials to get money to pay for the war. After the seven year war The King of England started to pay attention to the colonies and started to tax colonist. This brought the colonist together because they were not happy with the taxes being placed on them.
  • Royal Proclamation Act

    Royal Proclamation Act
    The king put the boundaries to his people that they can’t pass the mountains into the west Indians territory.
    The Native Americans allied with the French to keep fighting for the peace after they were done fighting.
    The British told the colonists that they couldn't go passed the Appalachian Mt. and they didn't like that because they don't get resources or spread out land.
  • Declaratory Act

    Declaratory Act
    The king and their people made laws for their colonists.
    The colonists told the British that they could back off and they can make their own laws and that they are miles away from them/British.
  • Quartering Act

    Quartering Act
    The colonists were forced or told to feed British soldiers.
    The colonists didn't like feeding the British soldiers because they didn't want to give money to the soldiers and lose the money they need to keep them alive.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    The colonists were picking on the British soldiers to tell them to leave and the colonies also through snowballs and rocks but one of the British soldiers shot one of the colonists and it ended up killing five people and wounding many more.
    The colonists didn't like the British in control or having them there and that the British shouldn't have open fired at the civilians/colonists from that country.
  • Tea Act

    Tea Act
    The British was forcing other colonies to buy tea from the British company.
    The colonists didn't like this because one of the company's that made the tea don't get money that they should have got and that the other colonists didn't like the British forcing them to pay the tea in Britain.
  • Intolerable Act

    Intolerable Act
    The Intolerable Act is events that happened like shut down Boston harbor, Quartering Act, and marshal law.
    The 56 delegates came together and drew up the declaration of rights and that the colonists boycott the British for these laws.
