king charles the first removes parliament
king charles removes all of parliaments power this severly angered the parliament and resulted in King charlses execution

Cromwell disollved parliament and ruled as a dictator until his death five years later.

English bill of rights
Bill stating that the king can no longer pass laws and it also expanded parliments power beyond just taxation to law making as well.
