Wednesday night he went to bed with terrific headache and a temperature of 103* fahrenheit. The next day it went up to 104 and on friday was the highest with a temp of 105 degrees. -

The battle of Athens
The dates are actually April 17, 18, 19, and 20. Roald Dahl went up in his plane(The Hurricane) a total of 12 times during that four day period. April 17 He went up three times and they found that they had lost 2 sergeants and their aircraft while the battle, the 18 he went up only twice, then he had to go up three times the next day, and on the last day April 20th he went up four times because the battle was at its end soon.

Roald Dahl and a hand full of his comrades went against half of the royal German air force, and they were soon in retreat for the landing strip. Once they touched down they quickly covered their planes with olive branches to camouflage to hide them away. -
