I began doing a small joke animation just to try and warm myself up.

While used very little, this was the first version of the character rig created. The rig, for people who don't know, is essentially used like a digital puppet. It's moved and tinkered with to animate in an easier, albeit still tricky, way compared to frame-by-frame.

Once this has started, there really isn't much else to say. I'm just working on each scene with very few measurable milestones aside from certain lengths and finishing it.

Each scene is tending to take longer than anticipated, so this is less likely to be the halfway mark.
