PURPOSE - In this movie, Bill and Ted go back in time using a phone booth to save their oral report from failure by visiting historical figures such as Socrates, and Billy the Kid.
FACT CHECK - Socrates was born circa 470 BC, in Athens, Greece.
RATING - I rate this movie a 4.5/5
CONNECTION - It sort of reminds me of Back to the Future, and Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
CHOICE - I liked the beginning when Napoleon caught a ride onto the phone booth with Bill and Ted. -

PURPOSE - This movie tells the story of Temüjin, and how he came to be the infamous Genghis Khan.
FACT CHECK - He spared a Buddhist monastery when destroying the Tangut Kingdom.
RATING - I rate this movie 3/5
CONNECTION - I like this song that's called Genghis Khan by Miike Snow, and it makes me think of the Mongols.

FACT CHECK - Columbus never actually found the Americas, and he was more ruthless and sadistic than the movie portrayed him.

PURPOSE - The purpose of this movie was to show the poverty at the time in England.
FACT CHECK - Charles Dickens wanted to write the book as it was perceived in his life at that time.

CONNECTION - I really like the musical Oliver! Oliver!, and it was based on Oliver Twist.

12 Years a Slave
PURPOSE - The purpose of this movie was to tell the story of Solomon Northup and how he lived through all of it, and eventually came home to his family.
FACT CHECK - There's rumors that Solomon was sold back into slavery after he came home to his family.
RATING - I give this movie a 5/5
CONNECTION - I once wrote a short story about slavery during the Civil War.

Lincoln
PURPOSE - This movie was surrounded the decision of Lincoln concerning the 13th amendment, and if it should be a law or not.
FACT CHECK - It was to believed that Lincoln and Booth knew each other.
RATING - I give this movie a 4.5/5
CONNECTION - I love Civil War history, and I'm kinda obsessed with it.
CHOICE - Lincoln was only 56 when he was killed, and it's only 5 year older than my father. -

PURPOSE - The purpose of the this movie was to show what the Civil Rights Movement was like in the 60s.
FACT CHECK - It it still unknown on who killed Dr. Martin Luther King.
RATING - I rate this move a 6/5 !!
CONNECTION - I get really irritaed with this movie really easliy because of all the ignorant people in it.

PURPOSE - This movie's purpose was to show Eugene Allen's life while working for president after president after president.

CONNECTION - A lot of the events that happened in the movie, I learned in American History, or World History.
