Water that pools in the low areas and in ditches Is called ground water. -
Evaporation
When water on the ground turns to gas and rises it Is called evaporation. -
Transpiration
When liquid is evaporated from trees or leaves instead of the ground it is called transpiration. -
Condensation
When water "gas" cools down from the evaporation process then condensation occurs creating liquid from gas. -
Precipitation...Again
After the gas is turned into liquid through condensation the water cycle starts over with precipitation.
