    Goals 2000 (Educated American Act) was reinforced within the grades of kindergarten to high school. Then included dance as a core curriculum for the students.

    The No Child Left Behind as also known as ESEA had been signed and effective in which means that the arts were now included as a core academic subject for the students as well.
