  • Yay A New Car!

    Yay A New Car!
Today, is my birthday and I got a car. It is a white Subaru SUV that we are buying from my grandparents.I am so excited. The only thing is, I have to pay for the car itself. I don't have to pay for insurance, but i am in charge of the cost of the car and the gas. I need to get a job!

    Working
I now work at Dairy Queen. Its not the best job around, but it pays and that is all that matters. I will work several hours over the next couple of months to make payments on my car. I will set aside a certain amount of each paycheck to pay each month.

    Second Job
I start my second job as a nanny today to help speed along the process of paying my car off. This will also give me the opportunity to save more for college and personal spending.

    Graduation money
Today is graduation day and hopefully I will get a lot of graduation money from my family and friends. Hopefully this will be enough to help pay for a lot of my car off and I can still have some saved up for college expenses.

    Half-way Point
At this point in time, my saving should have paid off at least half of the car, if not over half. I am still continuing to save for the payments, as well as set a certain amount aside for school and tithing.
