The First Colony
In Roanoke, North Carolina, the first colony that was English, was formed there. Sir Walter Raleigh led the expedition for the First English Colony. It took 2 tries to make a colony there. Raleigh led it the first time. The first time, they were struggling to survive. So someone took them back to England. The second time, colonists were killed and they were having rough times with other tribes. Then John White, their leader, decided to go back to England for supplies.

The Vanished Colony
The first English colony that was found in Roanoke, had disappeared leaving no trace or sign of what happened, but there was 2 things that were noticed. There was the word, 'CROATOAN' on a fence. Along with the word, 'CRO' on a tree. Which was founded by John White who led the expedition to Roanoke Island. Then there was a storm that was gonna come, so they went back to England. The Salem Witch Trials
The Salem Witch Trials were in Hysteria in Salem, Massachusetts. 200 people and more, were being accused of doing witchcraft. Which led to "at least 25 witches.. executed". Then the colony said that they admit the trials were a mistake. Source-Mr.Nussbaum and Smithsonian
