Space Camp in Huntsville, AL
Not only did I enjoy experiencing the space program, I found myself focusing in on the role of my space camp counselor. I began to think it might be fun to have that role some day. -
Research Assistant at the University of Massachetts, Amherst
Conducting my own experiments at the Eye-Tracking Lab in the Psychology Department, I began to realize that I loved working with the participants while conducting the experiments. Many of the students were curious about the research done in the laboratory and I enjoyed teaching them about it. -
Working at Philips Medical Systems

Attended Culinary School at the Le Cordon Bleu American Culinary Academy
After leaving another tech job, I realized I wanted to do something for regular people, not for business owners. I began to investigate culinary school and decided to sign up for classes. Initially, I loved my time there, but the school was in the process of closing and I came to see the true colors of the people that I would probably be working with. I began to search for a more fulfilling way of doing something for people. -
Began working at Seacoast Learning Collaborative in Brentwood, NH
After leaving culinary school, completely disgusted with the field, I began searching for something more appealing and fulfilling. My mother had always warned me against going into the teaching profession and I realized that despite her warnings, teaching was the right thing for me to do. I began working at a school for children with special needs and loved every moment of it. A year later, I signed up for classes at Rivier College to complete my Masters in Special and Elementary Education.
