My first cellphone was a stick phone with a small screen for dialing the number. -
Bought a flat screen TV
My family bought a flat screen TV while I was in high school. The picture was much clearer than the tube TV's. However, this was still before High Definition (HD) TV. -
My first laptop
I received my first laptop before starting college. It was a 17 inch Apple Macbook Pro. This was also the first Apple product that I owned. -
Joining Facebook
I joined the world of social media by joining Facebook during college. -
Saw my first full-length 3D movie
The first full-length 3D movie I saw was Avatar. I had seen short 3D movies before at amusement parks like Disneyland, but 3D movies didn't start becoming more mainstream until around the release of Avatar. -
First Smartphone
My first smartphone was a Huawei. I discovered how addictive it can be to have a pocket-size computer. I really enjoyed the installed digital camera and wi-fi capabilities. -
I Tried Nearpod
Today I tried using Nearpod in my class when reviewing the parts of speech. Since it is a more boring subject, I was hoping it would help my students be more engaged. I think it was effective.
