    When Barack Obama was elected it gave me motivation that not only Caucasian people could be presidents.

  • Sandy Hook Elementary

    When I heard about the Sandy Hook Elementary I was shook. I was scared to go back to school the next day. I remember in middle school the teacher told us about it and when I got home I was scared of going back the next day.

  • Flight 370

    Flight 370 was lost in the ocean and was never found. To this day there has been signs but no conformation about the plane. When I heard about it in middle school I was scared to go to Mexico because I travel in plane and when I go to Mexico for some reason my plane goes through the Golf Of Mexico and it reminds me of flight 370.. to this day I remember it but I'm not scared anymore, if it happens it happens.

    I used to be scared to leave the country because of the Ebola outbreak. Once I heard that it moved to the United States I was even terrified to go outside.

  • Going To Mexico

    I've went to Mexico Many Times, but I only remembered in 2015 when I was older and it changed me so much. When I returned to America I was grateful for so many things. I saw how people suffered from low paying jobs and trying everything they could to make money and they don't get paid a lot.

    Joan Sebastian is a famous singer. He impacted me because his song "Un Idiota" was my first spanish song that I learned completely. He was the reason why I liked spanish music

  • Contacts Lenses

    I started noticing that I was losing vision everyday. I didn't want to tell my parents because I didn't want to wear glasses so I never told them until one day I remember I went to my parents bedroom and told my mom that I couldn't see far and she then took me to the eye doctor and they told me I needed glasses. I didn't want glasses so I chose to get contact lenses. It was hard at first and the second day I went in I finally got a contact lens in my eye and from there I wear contacts everyday.

  • First Car

    I currently own a 2016 Corolla S and I got it when I passed my license test. I passed it at the age of 15 but I couldn't go to the BMV and get my license ID until I was 16 and three months.

  • License

    I got my permit at the age of 16. I was finally old enough to get my license and to be able to drive by myself, I finally felt like an adult (even though I'm not there yet)
