Done with school. Work a more serious job focused on career. Found my identity. -

Intimacy vs. isolation: Struggle to form close relationships and gain intimate love, or feel socially isloated. -
Buy first house
Independent living. Costs a lot of money. Do things for yourself more. -
Get married
Found intimate love. Live life accomodating another person. -
First baby
Care for another person. Be a responsive parent to gain trust. -
Start my own p.t. and sports performance business
Own and manage business/money. Be a leader and work well with others. Contribute to the community with recovery. -
Period: to
Stage 7: Middle Adulthood
Generativity vs. stagnation: Sense of contributing to the world through family or work, or feel a lack of purpose. -
Send kids off to college
Go through typical emotions of an empty nester. Back to a more laid-back lifestyle. -
Retire
Freedom. Have more time to travel the world and play bingo. Relaxed and time to reflect on life and enjoy it. -

Stage 8: Late Adulthood
Integrity vs. despair: Reflecting on life and feeling satisfaction or failure.
