My baptism
I was baptized during the first year of my life. I became a part of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. -
First time to go to the lake
I went to the lake for the first time with my family when I was about two years old. This has shaped me because since then, I have gone to the lake with my family almost every weekend in the summer. This opened me to adventure and trying new things, like wakeboarding (which I'm not very good at) and kneeboarding. -
My first razorback football game
I went to my first razorback football game when I was about four years old. This opened me up to the world of sports, and today sports are a big part of my life. -
First day of elementary school
My first day of elementary school was a big part of my life because I loved school when I was younger. I was always excited to go, and I never wanted to miss a day. -
First time to go to Camp Ozark
My four years at Camp Ozark has shaped me into the person I am today. Camp Ozark has taught me to make lifelong friends and to be adventurous and try new things that I normally wouldn't. Also, this was my first time to be away from home without my parents. -
My sister going to college
When my sister went to college, it was a big transition. This meant it would just be my brother and I at home. Three years later, my brother also went to college, so I became basically like an only child, since I was the only one living at home. -
Graduating Elementary School
My graduation from The Cathedral School was a big change in my life. The next school year, I would have to actually pay attention to my grades, and I would have to make a few new friends. I also left one of my best friends, Isabelle, who was going to a different middle school. -
My Memaw's death
My grandmother died when I was twelve years old after a long battle with ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease. This was a big transition in my life because I used to go over to her house around the block almsot every day. She had a great influence on my life and always taught me to stay positive and enjoy the moment. She taught me many other life lessons that I will never forget. -
High School
Deciding where to go for high school was a big decision for me. Half of my friends were going to Mount Saint Mary and half of my friends were staying at Episcopal. In the end, I'm very glad that I stayed at Episcopal. This was still a hard transition because it meant that I was not going to school with some of my best friends. Also, the transition to high school meant that I would really need to focus on my grades because they will now all be seen on my college applications.
