The Court of Oyer and Terminer
In the court of Oyer and Terminer they all sat too hear the cases of witchcraft. -
Convicted of Witchcraft
June through September of 1692, 19 men and woman were carried to Gallows Hill. Another man was squished by many rocks.
They all were accused of witchcraft. -
Execution
Judge Stoughton orders execution to all the accused witches that were exempted because of their pregnancy. Phips denied it therefore making judge stoughton leave the bench. -
The end of Court
When William Phips put an end to court, there were still about 50 people in prison in misery. He then bailed out a few of them trying to have them survive.
