Led by army officers who led approximately three thousand Russian soldiers. Occured in Senate Square in St. Petersburg. Nicholas I, the new tsar of Russia brutally repressed the uprising as well as executed the leaders of the rebels. -

The Death Of Vladimir Lenin
Vladimir Lenin created the Soviet Union and was the first leader of the Soviet Union. He died of a brain hemorrhage at age 54.
