The February Revolution begins
The people were unhappy with the Czar Nichola's rule of the country. They began protesting and were on strikes, refusing to go to worl. The czar had all of the power and people had no control over their lives. -
The end of Romanov rule
Czar Nicholas abdicates and leaves the throne to his brother. His brother did not accept unless it is offered to him by a constituent assembly elected by the people. The Czar leaves a provitional goverment and leaves to Serbia. -
Lenin takes over
Vladimir Lenin tried to come back to Russia in July, but was chased back. In Octuber, he came back from his exile to rule. He was the leader of the Russian Social-Democrat Labor political party. -
