Nicholas II crowned Tsar of Russia
Nicholas II was the last tsar of Russia under Romanov rule. His poor handling of Bloody Sunday and Russia’s role in World War I led to his abdication and execution. -
Russo-Japanese war
The Russo-Japanese War was a war between the Japanese Empire and the Russian Empire. It started in 1904 and ended in 1905. The Japanese won the war, and the Russians lost. The war happened because the Russian Empire and Japanese Empire disagreed over who should get which parts of Manchuria and Korea. -

Russian Civil War Begins
There were many reasons that war brooke out in Russsia. ON of them was that the Bolshivieks had many enimies. A second cause was the Czech Legion. Czech prisoners of war who mutinied, took control of the Siberian Railway, and attacked towards Moscow. One of the last reasons was that these groups within Russia were helped by the Great Powers, angry that Russia had dropped out of the First World War. -
