    Was a protest against Nicholas the first. Russians officers lead about 3,000 soldiers against Nicholas the first. Was a protest against Nicholas's assumption of the throne. Then, his brother removed himself from the line of succession.
  • Nicholas the second becomes Czar

    Nicholas the second becomes Czar
    Was born May 18, 1868 in Pushkin, Russia. He became leader when his father Alexander the third in 1894. He lead Russia in the in World War 1. He was the last Russian Czar. People did not like him. They protested against him and even soldiers protested against him. He was assasinated by Bolsheviks when he was taking a family picture.

    Between the Russian Empire and the Empire of Japan. Was a fight over land near the yellow sea. Russia wanted the land becasue they though that it would make it easier to trade with other countries. Japan ended up winning and getting the land.

    With the lost to Japan in the War Russia increased economic hardships. Then, Father Georgi Gapon who wasa priest planned a march of factory workers to the Czar's palace. The workers wanted better working conditions from Nicholas the second. More people joined Georgi Gapon near the palace and then came many soldiers . Finally, the soldiers killed most of the marchers that protested against Nicholas the second.

    Russia joins its allies Great Britain and France. They fight against Germany and Austria-Hungary. Russia did not have enough war supplies. One out of three soldiers had a gun. Russian people blamed the Czar. The economy was down and people had food shortages. Russia and its allies ended up winning, but Russia's economy ended up collapsing.

    People protest against him and soldiers protest against him. They protest against him becasue people wanted better working conditions and Russia also had food shortages. The protest was called Bloody Sunday. Then that make Nicholas the second abdicate the Russian Throne. Then Bolshiviks end up killing him when he takes a family picture.

    Was a protest in Petrograd, Russia. People protested about food shortages. The soldiers joined the crowd and also protested. Nicholas the second gave up being the leader. Russia then came up with a provisional government. The government gave people a lot of thing like the freedom of speech.

    Was between the Communiusts, Bolshevik's and the Menshevik's. The Communist made peasants fight because they said that they will give the peasants anything. The Communists won control over Russia because they were more organized. The Communists rename Russia the Union of Soviets Socialists Republics. I was also called the Soviet Union.

    The Communist took control over Russia when the Communists won the Civil War. The communists made Russia into a union of four republics. After that was when the Communist called Russia the USSR. That stands for the Union of Soviet Socialists Republics. Then later the USSR grew into 15 republics that were made up of 100 minorities.

    Vladimir Lenin was a Russian Communist leader. Was the leader of Russia from 1917 to 1924 when he died. He increases food production in Russia. He was the first communist leader in Russia. He died from series of strokes when he was 53 years old.
