1905 Revolution
Lasting from 1905 to 1907, it was a time of social unrest that spread through vast areas of the Russian Empire, most of it directed at the government. It included worker strikes, peasant unrest, and military disconduct. This lead to a limited constitutional monarchy. -
The 1917 Revolution
Lenin and his bolsheviks were successful in winning the revolution after a series of revolutions, most notably in Febuary and October. This lead to the abdication of Nicholas the II and the end of Tsardom. The Soviet Union was formed.
