Kerensky became the new prime minister thought russians efforts was being put off by caos at home like lenin and declared him a german spy.
So he orders his men to march Petrograd to restore order lending the Bolsheviks to defend the city. -
The assassination of Rasputin.
The murder of Rasputin, Russia’s infamous “Mad Monk,” is the fodder for a great historical tale that blends fact and legend. But the death of the controversial holy man and faith healer had a combustible effect on the tense state of affairs in pre-revolution Russia. -

During this period, women's protests in petrograd over bread shortages and workers joined to protest against Tsar. -
The Bolsheviks
The state Duma and the National Assembly formed a Provisional Government which shared the power with the petrograd soviet (they were more radical, also known as the bolsheviks) -
Bolsheviks ideologies.
The Bolsheviks were led by Vladimir Lenin and the demanded the redistribution of lands, and to transfer the power to the workers. Land, peace, Bread. Likewise, there was a protest and the troops loyal to the provisional government opened fire killing many protesters -
The Bolsheviks and their control over cities
After that event, the Bolsheviks gain control of Petrograd making the
Bolsheviks stormed the provisional government quarts of the winter palace in the capital.
Which Later Lenin announced the overthrow of the provisional government. -
Russian Civil War
The Russian civil war began and was between Bolsheviks vs. White Russians
The white Russians had the purpose to put Tsar Nicholas II back on the throne, they had foreign support which was an advantage for them. -

Nicholas and his family were held under guard in Tsarskoye Selo, they move them to Tobolsk (siberis) were they lived under house arrest in the government's mansion and later they were all killed. n -
The Lenin's leadership
Lenin determined a uncompromised leadership, they built a new socialism order, “The soviet Union” created in 1923 / 30th of December. It was a single party state, all opposition was suppressed.
