    Sunday Afternoon; Lord Capulet and Paris talk about his wedding to Juliet. While Romeo and Benvolio learn of the Capulet's party.

  • Act 1 Scene 3

    Sunday Evening; Lady Capulet tells Juliet that Paris wants to marry her.

  • Act 1 Scene 4

    Sunday Evening; Romeo and his friends arrive at the Capulet's house.

  • Act 1 Scene 5

    Evening & Late Evening; Romeo and Juliet fall in love at the party while Tybalt is angry at Romeo.

  • Act 2 Scene 1

    Late Evening; Romeo looks for Juliet while Benvolio and Mercutio look for Romeo.

    Early Morning; Romeo goes to Friar Laurence to arrange the wedding.

  • Act 2 Scene 4

    Noon; Benvolio and Mercutio are looking for Romeo,while Tybalt wants to challenge him and then the Nurse finds him to talk about Juliet.

  • Act 2 Scene 5

    Afternoon; Juliet is upset that the Nurse is taking so long and the Nurse delivers the message.

  • Act 2 Scene 6

    Afternoon; Romeo and Juliet go to the Friar and get married.

  • Act 3 Scene 1

    Afternoon; Benvolio and Mercutio find Tybalt then Romeo shows up and Tybalt challenges him but Romeo refuses, so Mercutio fights Tybalt and Tybalt kills him, so Romeo kills Tybalt. The Prince orders that Romeo be banished.

  • Act 3 Scene 2

    Late Afternoon; Juliet wants night to fall so that Romeo will come
    then the Nurse tells her about Tybalt's death and Romeo's banishment.

  • Act 3 Scene 3

    Early Evening; The Friar tells Romeo that he has been banished and the Nurse comes to bring Romeo to Juliet.

  • Act 3 Scene 4

    Late Evening; Lord Capulet decides that Juliet is going to marry Paris on Thursday.

  • Act 3 Scene 5

    Early Morning; Romeo leaves for Mantua after spending the night with Juliet and then Juliet is told that she has to marry Paris on Thursday morning.

  • Act 4 Scene 1

    Late Morning; Paris talks to Friar Laurence about the upcoming wedding then Juliet goes to Friar Laurence, and he suggests a plan that she take something that will make her fake her death so that she can get away with Romeo then Friar Laurence sends Friar John to Mantua with a message for Romeo.

  • Act 4 Scene 2

    Lord Capulet prepares for the party while Juliet pretends to cooperate.

  • Act 4 Scene 3

    Evening; Juliet drinks the elixir.

  • Act 4 Scene 4

    Very late Evening; Paris arrives while Capulet is still arranging the celebration.

  • Act 4 Scene 5

    Morning; The Capulets and Paris find Juliet's "dead" body.

  • Act 5 Scene 1

    Afternoon; Romeo learns that Juliet is dead and buys poison from an Apothecary.

  • Act 5 Scene 2

    Evening; The Friar finds out about his last letter and sends a new one as well as going to get to Juliet.

  • Act 5 Scene 3

    Late Evening through Early Morning; Paris and his servant arrive at Juliet's tomb then Romeo and Balthasar arrive while Romeo gives Balthasar his suicide note. Romeo kills Paris then Paris' servant goes to get the watchmen while Romeo kills himself. The Friar alives just as Juliet wakes up, the watchmen are coming and the Friar flees as Juliet kills herself as well. The watchmen find the bodies and send for the Prince, the Montagues, and the Capulets. Then both families make peace.~
