He has the longest reign of 41 years. His real name was Octavius. He defeated Mark Antony with the famous Egyptian queen, Cleopatra and then with the senate of Rome created a new constitutin for the great empire. -

It began imidieatly after the fall of the republic. Octavius appointed himself "Agustus" or first emporer. -

Trajan
Under his rule the empire reached it's greatest extent. He made his name philanthropic rule. -

Marcus Aurelius
He defeated and revitalized the Parthian Empire in the east. He fought the Marcomania, Quadi, and Sarmaritans with success during the Marcomannic Wars. -

Fall of the Roman Empire
The last Emperor Romulus Augustus was Defeated by the German Goth Odoacer. This was the start of the Dark Ages in Europe.
