Etruscans
The first Etruscans settled in Etruria around 800 B.C. They built Cities on top of hills surrounded by tall walls. Outside of these walls farmers farmed pigs, grapes, and wheat with tools made of iron. The Etruscans had social order with classes 1st 2nd and 3rd class with slaves at the bottom. The Etruscans believed in gods similar to Greek gods, they believed that each god ruled a different province. I can infer that the Etruscans were spiritual and borrowed many ideas from the Greeks. -
Founding of Rome
When a Princess had babies after she had sworn never to have any they were sent in a basket down the Tiber River. Shortly after a she wolf found the babies and reared them as her own. When the boys were older a farmer found them and killed the she wolf. The boys then grew up and decided to build a city, Romulus and Remus got into a fight and Romulus killed Remus. I can infer that Romulus and Remus were very violent. Romulus then named the city after himself. -
