Robinson's Health Timeline

  • Teen years

    I eat fruits, vegetables, whole grains, white meats, and limit red meats and beef. I also prevent injury by being careful. I walk and swim, although I need to start exercising more often.
  • The 20's

    I will eat healthy foods packed with protein, calcium, and omega-3, and exercise by taking walks whenever I can. I will not start smoking, drinking, or using illegal drugs and tobacco. I will also avoid tanning booths, and protect my skin and eyes from the sun.
  • The 30's

    I will exercise regularly, maintain a healthy weight, monitor blood pressure, BMI, cholesterol, and reduce stress. I will also build muscle, and go for regular medical checkups and immunizations.
  • The 40's

    I will have a blood pressure and cholesterol screening, and any other medical tests. I will also get regular exercise, and sleep, reduce stress, and maintain a healthy diet and weight. I will also take steps to reduce chronic pain
  • The 50's

    The 50's
    I will stay active mentally and physically by getting 30-60 minutes of exercise, challenge my mind by keeping in touch with friends and family members, eat a healthy diet, and maintain a healthy weight. I will also stay away from drugs, and get medical checkups regularly.
  • The 60's

    In my 60's I will watch for health problems, exercise, get medical exams regularly, a pneumonia and shingles vaccine, and a bone density test as recommended, maintain weight, and eat a wide variety of foods such as beans, fruits and vegetables, nuts, dairy products, and whole grains.
