Robespierre's leading France became known as the Reign of Terror, 1793-1794. He was having thousands of french people being executed by a machine called the guillotine if they didn't follow what he did for France. -
After Robespierre executed 40,000 french citizens the committee sentenced him to death and he died on July 28th,1794 in Paris by guillotine.
