Attempted murder
The charges against Pickton for attempted murder were stayed. The victim's testimony wouldn't hold up in court because they found her an unreliable witness because she was a drug addict. They collected Pickton's clothing from this, but did not test them. If they had done so they would of found the DNA of his other killings. -
Search for illegal firearms.
The Pickton farm was being searched for illegal firearms. An inhaler of a missing women was found. Pickton was charged with possetion of illegal firearms and then was released under police surveillance. -

Conviction
He was convicted of 6 second degree murders and is serving life in prison with no possible chance of parole for 25 years. -
Inquiry
Inquiry against Vancouver police and RCMP starts today. The inquiry is speaking about all the errors in the case, inclusing brushing off any tips that implied that Pickton was the murderer. Also the police and RCMP are being accused of racism, prejudice and indifference.
