    The 19th Amendment was ratified, which allowed all women to vote in elections.
  • First Radio Broadcast

    On November 2nd, KDKA in Pittsburgh made the first radio broadcast.
  • Warren G. Harding was elected

    On March 4, 1921, Warren G. Harding was sworn into office and became the 29th president of the USA.
  • Emergency Quota Act

    The Emergency Quota Act limited the number of immigrants that were allowed into the USA every year. The act said that the number of immigrants allowed in every year was equal to 3% of the current USA population.
  • Harding dies.

    On August 2nd, Warren Harding died of what we believe to be cardiac arrest. This led to Coolidge becoming the new US president.
  • 1924 Election

    After the voting took place, Calvin Coolidge was declared to have won the presidency, giving him a second term.

    On April 10th, F. Scott Fitzgerald released what is now known as one of the greatest novels ever made.
  • Scopes Trial

    A trial that determined that the teaching of evolution in the classroom doesn't violate church or state religion laws, but just prohibits the teaching of evolution on the grounds of intellectual disagreement.
  • 1928 Election

    In 1928, the election took place, and Herbet Hoover won, making him become the 31st president.

    In 1928, Disney's "Steamboat Willie" premiered, which was the debut of their mascot, Mickey Mouse.
