This was a movement where the most powerful empires started to expand. There were 5 major reasons for an empire to expand, 1. Political, 2.Economical, 3. Reliious, 4. Idealogical, 5. Exploratory. The countries that participated in this movement were UK, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and US. -
Industrial Revolution
This was a period of transition where people where inventing new machines and ways to create products in faster and more efficient ways. This was basicly the creatinong of urban areas and better transport. -
Boston Tea Party
This was a protest by the Sons of Liberty of the boycott of tea tax that americans where not happy with because they got nothing in return. So they decided to destroy all the tea that arrived to boston form the East India Company. That action escalated into the American Revolution. -
Tennis Court Oath
It was an event of the French Revolution which was the first movement from the Third Estate against the King Louis XVI. They promised to keep meeting to draft a constitution. The group that met in the Tennis Court where also known as the "National Assembly". -
Reign Of Terror
This was a period of the French Revolution where ther was a civil war between the Giondis and the Jacobins. The characteristic is that most of the deaths where made with the Guillotine. -
The Coronation of Napoleon
This was when Napoleon Bonaparte crwoned himself king even though that was not he usual. -
WWI
This war was also known as the Great War, it was between the Central Powers (Germany and Austria-Hungary) and the Triple Entente (UK, France and Russia). But also included countries like Italy, Japan, USA, Ottoman Empire and Bulgaria. It began with the assasination of an Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand. The war enden in November 11, 1918 with the Treaty of Versailles.
