Proclamation of 1763

Townshend Act

Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre started because about 50 colonists seized a British sentinel. British soldiers fired at random into the crowd killing 3 citizens. This act was issued by King George lll to enforce the Appalachian Mountains as the official border of the colonies.
