End of the French Indian War
The end of the French and Indian war brought debt. Egland Wanted to tax the colonies because egland made the colonies
to make money.This was called mercantilism. -
The Proclamation of 1763
It banned all colonist from settling west of the Apalachan Mountins.The law was widley Ignored. -
The Sugar Act
Put a tax on sugar and molasses. The smuglers had cruel pnishments if caught. Also boycotted British goods. -
Stamp Act
The Stamp Act put taxes on letters, wills, contracts, newspapers, and playing cards. They burned stamped paper. -
Quartering Act
Required to feed and house British soldiers. Some colonists refused to let them stay. -
Townshed Act
This law put taxes on imports. Since Briten did that people smugled goods into the colonies. -
Boston Massacre
A mob of colonists were angry at the brittish. A colonist hit a soldierin the head with a club. Then there was a acidental fire and every body fire on unarmed colonists and five endid up dead -
Tea Act
The tea act made it so that the colonies had to buy from England. Also they put a tax on tea -
Boston Tea Prty
Colonist's that dressed up as indians threw the tea of the ship. They dressed up as indains to protect there identity. -

It was when all the colonies exept Georgia met. -
Lexington and Concord
In preperation for the war the colonists were storing arms in Concord M.A. War was not declared but it was obvios that war was comming. It was the first battle between the colonists and the British. -
Coercive/ Intolerable acts
They were called the intolerable acts for the colonists because they didn't like the acts. The British called them the coercive acts because they liked the acts. -
