This affected the American Revolution because Governor Hutchinson’s reluctant removal of troops from Boston under threat of insurrection dramatized the impotence of imperial power as it was then constituted when faced with organized local resistance. -

The Intolerable Acts were acts passed to punish the colonists for the Boston Tea Party. This had an affect in the American Revolution because more laws were passed by the British for teh Americans because of the Boston Tea Party. -
Lexington and Concord
The battles of Lexington and Concord was tension that had been building for many years between residents of the 13 American colonies and the British authorities, particularly in Massachusetts. This affected the American Revolution because it kicked off the American Revolution. -
Declaration of Independence
The Declaratioin of Independece was a formal statement of the colonies intentions. This affected the American Revolution because it gave independence to the Americans and influenced other states.
