The French and Indian War started in 1754. The war was New France fighting againt British America with native allies on both sides.

French and Indian War End

The French and Indian War ended in 1763. The British won the seven year war and both sides signed the Treaty of Paris. The British gave France a decision to surrender their contenental land or islands in the Carribian. France chose to give up the islands. Both sides had an economic downfall and Britan raised the tax on the colonies, which the colonist did not like.

The Stamp Act was when Britian taxed colonist on everything that was paper. Colonist did not like this as it was costing them a lot of money.

Townshend Act

The Townshend Act was an act made by Charles Townshend to raise revenue for governors and judges so they will stay loyal to Great Britain. This also caused the occupation of British Troops in Boston, which then lead to the Boston Massacre.

Tea Act

Boston Tea Party

Lexington and Concord

Lexingto and Concord were the first millitary engagement in the American Revolutionary War. The British declared that Massachusetts was rebelling so the country sent in troops to find any millitary supplies.
