The brithish banned all the colonists from settiling west of the Appilation mountains. Believed they had the right to live where they pleased. The colonists' were widely ingmored because it was impossible for the British to enforce. -

The british but taxes on sugar, malases and many other things. It included harsh punishments for smugglers. This leads James Otis to coin the phrase "Taxation without representation is tyerrine. coloinsts refused to by british goods they sent a paticon to England. -

The clonists had to buy an additional stamp for documents like doplumas, contracts, news papers and even playing cards. This was an unfair tax that they had not input. The coloinsts demanded the tax be repilled. They burned stamps and held the stamp act congress in new york city. -

This act required colonists to house and feed British soldiers.
their rights as Englesh citizens have been violated. Some refused to let the soldiers in there homes. -
Townshed act
Britain won't tax goods in the colonies. They will tax on imports including lead, tea, and glass. The writs of assitence allowed British customs officals to search ships. This is still a tax the rights are being violated. Smuggle goods into the colonies reduce imports to the colonies. -

This tax made it so the british could sell tea to the 13 colonies. It would also be tax free for them to do this. Harsh punishments if the colonistes tried to smuggle tea in. -

The tea must be imported directly from britan east indian co. Tea is still taxed 3 pence a pound. Coloinests raid the ships and dumped the tea over boared. It took three hours to dump all the tea out. -

This was a convention of delegates. They meet in carpenters' hall in Philadelphia, pennsylvania. It was responce to the passage of the coercive acts aslo known as the intolerble acts. -

This was a poem about the ride that Paul Revere did on April 18 1775. In the poem Revere tells a friend to prepair the signal lights on the old north church. He dose this to inform that the brithish will attack by either land or sea. -
